2CV Car Club

Something a little different is rolling into the 1950’s Museum this Saturday, 17th October!

We’re delighted to be welcoming the 2CV Car Club to the museum on Saturday afternoon!

The iconic Citroën 2CV is one of the most recognisable cars ever made, famous for its distinctive shape, canvas roll-back roof and wonderfully simple design.

First unveiled in 1948, the 2CV was designed to be an affordable, practical car for everyday life. More than 5 million were produced between 1949 and 1990, earning it a special place in motoring history. Often affectionately nicknamed the ‘Tin Snail’, it’s a car that has captured the hearts of generations of enthusiasts.
It’s always a treat to see classic cars bringing people together, and we’re looking forward to welcoming the club and seeing these characterful little cars in person.

Why not make a visit this Saturday? Come and explore the 1950’s Museum, enjoy the nostalgia and see what classic motoring memories you can discover.
